Welcome, sisters. I’m so glad you have found your way here.
My name is Anna Wood. I am a woman in my sixties, a Reformed Baptist by conviction, who deeply loves Christ and His Word. The purpose of Feminine Fidelity is to teach and encourage women in biblical womanhood, particularly through the pattern given in Titus 2:3–5.
Whether you are a young woman seeking biblical wisdom, a wife longing to build a Christ-centered home, a mother desiring to raise her children in the nurture and admonition of the Lord, or an older woman seeking to fulfill the Titus 2 calling to teach younger women, I pray that you will find faithful instruction and encouragement here.

A Little About Me
I am a widow, a longtime homemaker, and the mother of nine children. I have known hardship, lived with lifelong health problems, known poverty, and learned the value of frugality. I love to study Scripture, and over the years I have worked to understand God’s design for women.
I was not taught homemaking or what it meant to be a wife and mother. I had very little practical guidance and almost no real theological guidance in these things. Growing up in the 1970s meant coming of age at a time when many women were beginning to openly reject God’s design for womanhood. Far too few older women were willing or prepared to teach younger women how to run a home, support and respect a husband, love their children well, or faithfully guide them.
Sisters, biblical womanhood is God’s design for us. And because He created us, He knows what is best for us. We will never improve upon His ways. We are happiest, safest, and most useful when we obey Him and gladly live according to His design.
I long ago reached the season of life spoken of in Titus 2, when older women are commanded to teach that which is good to their younger sisters. This is what I try to do.
And we do not get to decide for ourselves what “that which is good” means. Scripture defines it for us. Titus 2 tells older women what we are to teach and younger women what they are to learn. It also gives us a sobering reason for doing so: that the Word of God be not blasphemed.
This matters. When we refuse God’s design, soften His commands, or fail to teach what He has told us to teach, we do not merely make a different lifestyle choice. We bring dishonor upon His Word.
That is why I teach these things.
My desire is not to chase trends or stir controversy merely for its own sake. Rather, I want to ask a much more important question:
What has God said?
Titus 2: 1–5:
“But speak thou the things which become sound doctrine:
2 That the aged men be sober, grave, temperate, sound in faith, in charity, in patience.
3 The aged women likewise, that they be in behaviour as becometh holiness, not false accusers, not given to much wine, teachers of good things;
4 That they may teach the young women to be sober, to love their husbands, to love their children,
5 To be discreet, chaste, keepers at home, good, obedient to their own husbands, that the word of God be not blasphemed.”
What does His Word teach us about being women? About marriage and motherhood? About caring for our home? The purpose of our home? About our character, conduct, priorities, relationships, service, and responsibilities before Him? About how we are to live, dress, speak, and comport ourselves in our daily lives?
God’s Word defines all of this for us.
Here at Feminine Fidelity, we consider subjects such as:
- Biblical Womanhood
- Preparing for marriage, homemaking, and family life
- The calling of older women to teach younger women
- Building a home with wisdom, purpose, and joy
- Motherhood and the training of children
- Hospitality and serving others
- Traditional skills, frugality, and simple living
- Biblical modesty and feminine conduct
- Christian head covering
- Encouragement for women in every season of life
- Feminism and its influence upon women, the home, the church, and society
- Cultural questions considered from a biblical perspective
At the center of all of these subjects is the conviction that God created us male and female on purpose and that His design is good.
My prayer is that each page and every article here will point beyond me and toward Christ. I do not have all the answers, but God’s Word is sufficient, wholly trustworthy, and forever relevant to every generation.
Soli Deo Gloria!
