The Lord has graciously answered our prayers

Dear sisters,

Our Lord has graciously answered our prayers that Tristan might begin studies to be a Reformed pastor.

Tristan is my oldest son and the son who has given so much of himself for me and my younger children. Our circumstances were such that, without help, my younger children and I would not have been able to make it. Tristan realized this and took care of us.

After many years of being a faithful son and brother, Tristan has been called as the first student under the elders of New Hope Reformed Church in Mount Vernon, Kentucky. They have begun a pastoral training program in which, for three years, the elders take a qualified and called young man and lead him through intensive theological and practical training. Tristan is their first student.

God has given him the path forward he has long prayed for. He has spent so many years in theological studies of his own but chose to forgo college to care for us. God has rewarded his faithfulness.

So it is with rejoicing that we say God has set us, and especially Tristan, on a new path, one that is an answer to many years of prayer. Since we live with him, under his care, my daughter and I will be going with Tristan as he begins this season of study.

The greatest service you can do for us is to pray for us and especially for Tristan as we all move and as he begins a new season of his life, one that will open the door to all the seasons to come and enable him to serve the Lord and His people.

If God puts it on your heart to do more, I have a GoFundMe set up for Tristan. Our Amazon wish list has things we can use as we move and get set up. Here’s a list of other ways you can help that don’t involve GoFundMe. Please understand, I’m not asking you to help; I’m simply providing this for those whom God moves to help us.

Thank you, sisters, for reading this. Please continue to keep us in prayer.

I love y’all and pray for y’all.

Soli Deo Gloria!
