Doctrinally sound Pastors and Teachers

Modern (living and deceased)

Titus 1: 7-9, For an overseer, as God’s steward, must be above reproach. He must not be arrogant or quick-tempered or a drunkard or violent or greedy for gain, but hospitable, a lover of good, self-controlled, upright, holy, and disciplined. He must hold firm to the trustworthy word as taught, so that he may be able to give instruction in sound doctrine and also to rebuke those who contradict it.

Doctrinally sound men who don’t and won’t compromise aren’t easy to come by these days; truth is, they’ve rarely been easy to find. Temptation to compromise for personal comfort, for fame, for convenience, and for money, has always been the temptation. Those few who don’t are treasures beyond compare.

Below is a list of both modern and past preachers and teachers who have, to my knowledge, refused to yield to pressure to compromise. Some of the links are to their personal websites, some to sermons, and others to their books on Amazon. Should you purchase a book through the Amazon links, I will receive a small commission at no extra cost to you.

If you have someone to recommend, please suggest them to me in the comment section.
