My daughter and I wear head covers to church and I’m an outspoken advocate of covering for worship. I believe it is biblical (1 Corinthians 11: 2-16) and that a woman’s obedience in covering honors our Lord and is a great testimony to the church and to the world which so hates biblical womanhood and manhood. I’ve got a page devoted to head covers (look at the top of my blog) and I’ve written numerous articles about head coverings.
My daughter got hers through Amazon; in fact, the picture above is of my daughter in her head covering that she purchased through Amazon. I usually wear a scarf to church. There are many places where you can buy a covering that will work. The ones shown below are sold through WalMart and for about $4.00, you get three. I’ve picked up scarves through thrift stores and at yard sales. It’d be easy to make a simple one. Hats also make great coverings.
There are also some really great shops where you can buy covers. Below you will find multiple shops that sale snoods, veils, and coverings of various kinds.
If you have questions about head covers, please reach out or go to my page on it and listen to some of the sermons, check out the books, and read what the church prior to feminism taught about head coverings.
